loyalty programmes to drive sales for some of the world’s leading brands such as
BMW, Compaq, Coty, Orange, Microsoft, Procter & Gamble, GE, Honda and Wella,
to name a few. People often share that incentive and loyalty schemes don’t
work for their audience, but in our extensive experience, this is rarely the case.
It often isn’t the reward itself that motivates a person, but rather the internal
reward we get from telling our friends and family about it, and what we make it
mean about our status in life. At Orangutan, our programmes typically deliver
47-900% increase in sales and return 20-40 times the initial cost of funding
them.

traditional insect repellents. We use the natural ingredient PMD as our main active
ingredient thus providing an alternative to the toxic DEET used in many forms of insect
repellent. Since starting our company, we have prevented over 187,535 litres of Deet from
being used by the general public and polluting our environment and waterways. We also
moved from using an alcohol-based formula to a water-based formula for environmental
purposes. We use sugarcane plastic for the majority of our packaging which captures more
CO2 than it takes to produce as well as being easily recyclable. At the end of 2022 we
started to include prevented ocean plastic in some of our packaging, further saving plastics
from reaching landfill. Our additional packaging is made from recycled and /or fully
recyclable materials. We have a mandate to eradicate all single use plastic from our
products and have now achieved this at production level. Since 2020 we have saved 20.5
tonnes of plastic from landfill.

New Forest First Aid Training

Mini Medics – Life-Saving Skills for the Next Generation – Seeking businesses to sponsor our training in schools across the area. Every day, children find themselves in situations where a simple action could make all the difference, a sibling choking at home, a classmate fainting, or an accident in the playground. Yet too often, they don’t know what to do. That’s where our Mini Medics initiative comes in. Although the Government has acknowledged the importance of teaching first aid in schools, many schools simply don’t have the resources to make it happen, or lack consistency and equipment. Our Mini Medics programme gives children hands-on, age-appropriate first aid training. They learn how to stop bleeding, help someone who has fainted, place someone in the recovery position or simply when to call for help. More than just skills, they gain confidence, resilience, and the instinct to step up when it matters most, lessons they carry and build on through life. How your business can help For companies supporting this project, it offers a unique way to deploy Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) budgets with measurable, long-lasting impact. Unlike traditional one-time donations or sponsorships, this initiative creates a ripple effect: each trained child becomes a safety ambassador at school, at home, and in the community. The result is stronger communities, confident families, and a safer future where every home has a first aider. Partnering with us shows a genuine commitment to meaningful social change. If this aligns with your values, we’d love to talk. Visit us at Stand 27 or reach out after the event. Let’s explore how we can make a difference together. Let’s move CSR beyond charity and into inspiration, creating legacy of safer, stronger communities for generations to come.

No More Lids

Having worked in the hospitality industry all my life I have seen first-hand the volume of single-use plastic waste created every day by the industry. When you look at the issue from the other side, with local authority and specialist waste collection services, the sad truth is that only 2% of the coffee cup and lid waste is actually recycled worldwide. The impact of plastic waste is felt everywhere, but no more so than here in my own county of Cornwall. With the UK’s longest coastline, where our beaches suffer from a huge influx of waste plastics, it is only the tireless work of local community groups that our beaches remain incredible. I knew there had to be a solution out there to eliminate the plastic from the cycle completely, that didn’t carry the usual much higher price tag that is the cost of being green in the UK. In a seemingly endless search, I came across something brand new that was already having a huge positive impact in Australia and Canada – The Good Cup! And we invite you to make the change.
